Season 8 hosted at Mandela National Stadium (Namboole)  was a spectacle of football excellence, marking yet another milestone in the league’s rich history. With the competition expanding to 16 teams, the stage was set for one of the most thrilling seasons yet. Abazibu emerged as the undisputed champions, delivering a dominant 3-0 victory over Nshera in the final. Playing a beautiful brand of tiki-taka football, they controlled the game with precision passing, fluid movement, and exceptional teamwork, leaving no doubt about their supremacy.

Interestingly, Nshera had already planned a grand trophy parade in anticipation of victory, but despite their defeat, they went ahead with the celebrations, embodying the unwavering spirit of the league. Season 8 also welcomed two new teams, Kalele and Omujuma, making their much-anticipated debuts and adding fresh excitement to the competition.
