Lions being the Kings of the jungle makes “Slay Kings”; a rather perfect description of what Nshera
F.C stands for.

The name Nshera which is derived from the early morning porridge served at Ntare
School makes a solid case for this deduction. Nshera (the porridge) wasn’t a meal for the lazy and
weak; it took serious determination and fury to partake of this porridge. It was   a breakfast for onlythe early risers. A meal for only Kings. And as the old adage goes, “Eat breakfast like a *King*, lunch like a Prince and dinner like a pauper”, We surely are the KINGS of the NLL.

The Nshera fraternity is made up of former students who joined NTARE School in and around the
years 2005 and 2010. However Nshera F.C is more than just a football team. It is a brotherhood, a
tribe, a lifestyle. The loyalty and togetherness extends beyond just the football pitch and of all the
other teams in the NLL, our camaraderie, unity and sense of belonging is unparalleled.
